E-Light Stone System by Elite Stone, Backlit Onyx and Marble

E-Light is an Italian product, highly technological and innovative, based on over 10 years of research and experimentation in the field of lightweight stone and back-lit, which technologies are protected by industrial patents.
E-Light is a thin assembly element, obtained by the lamination process of marble / onyx with glass and assemblage with a luminous transmittance LED panel. The extraordinary versatility of this innovative solution can be applied in various architectural and interior design decisions where the transparency, light weight and super-slim thickness of the back-lit stone, become an essence for creation of luxurious and suggestive environments of incomparable aesthetic value.

A thin laminated panel composed of marble or onyx sealed with anti-breaking foil and back-lit panel.

Its composition

The E-Light panel is a laminated element, compact, lightweight and durable, minimum thickness of 6 mm, formed by a rigid glass support a minimum of 3 mm thick, coupled to a panel in natural Marble of 3 mm, or Onyx of 5 mm.

Lighting E-Light

Each panel can also be back-lit by a bright LED light transmission system, provided by two methods:
– White light, dimmable
– RGB dimmable with 16 colours.

Resistance – tempered glass

The tempering of the glass rigid support procedure amplifies up to 8 times the physical and mechanical characteristics of normal glass. Due to specific processing, sizes, shapes and anchoring holes, etc must be defined prior to stratification process.

Security

The transparent binder film interposed between the two layers of stone and glass, gives the shatterproof properties to the panel: in case of breakage, the fragments will be retained by the film.

The materials available can be chosen from the Elite Stone Library.

Process for the stratification of the panel and production of doors for furnished doors, walls and furniture components.

Process for the production of laminated panels in stone material on tempered glass for the production of components for furniture, architecture or light diffusers.

Patents

Process for joining angular laminated panels of stone and glass material for the creation of lampshades, furniture components and architecture.

Process for manufacturing of luminous sheets of stone material obtained by pairing the above sheets to a uniform light diffuser panel applied to the panel of light transmittance with a source of LED light.

Modular System

A coating system formed from modular E-Light panels, complete with light transmittance system.
Each module is equipped with clip-on anchors with hooking / front fastening, for mounting on aluminum profiles fixed to the wall. The modules can be supplied in standard 60×60 and 60×120 cm sizes or customised sizes. The assembly is easy to carry out even by non-professionals.

You can place accessories such as shelves, containers or other furniture accessories among the modules. The modules are interchangeable, providing endless possibilities for customisation and environmental renewal.

Slab System

E-Light Slab is an ornamental panel with a coating – self – illuminating of large sizes that ensures homogeneous illumination over the entire surface,
even in the case of through holes.
This system finds its creative expression in projects involving large back-lit surfaces such as ceilings, walls and floors to create a beautiful and fascinating immersive effect unique of its kind, especially with the use of fine white Marble and Onyx. Used as a complement to furniture for the realisation of doors, screens, and stairs

For ceiling applications, the anchoring systems are the same used for the structural glass, whether they are in a frame or stippled.
By using tempered glass, E-Light Slab becomes walkable allowing its use in cladding floors and stairs.
